The first Uzbek–Brazilian Trade House has officially begun operations in Rio de Janeiro. Registered as Brazilian-Uzbekistan Trade House Ltd, the entity was established to serve as a permanent commercial bridge between Central Asia and Latin America.
The launch, reported on May 19, 2026, represents a milestone in bilateral economic relations — providing Uzbek and Brazilian businesses with a dedicated platform for trade facilitation, market entry, and partnership development.
Strategic Location and MERCOSUR Access
Rio de Janeiro was chosen for its role as a major Brazilian commercial hub and gateway to the wider Latin American market. Through Brazil’s membership in MERCOSUR, the Trade House can help Uzbek exporters and investors reach a regional market of hundreds of millions of consumers.
Services and Support
The Trade House is designed to support companies on both sides of the corridor with:
- Market intelligence and partner matching
- Import–export documentation and compliance guidance
- Logistics coordination and supply-chain support
- Promotion of Uzbek products in Brazil and Brazilian goods in Uzbekistan
- Business delegation hosting and B2B event organization
Building the Brazil–Uzbekistan Corridor
Officials highlighted that the Trade House aligns with recent high-level visits and growing trade volumes between the two countries. By combining on-the-ground presence in Brazil with links to Tashkent and regional partners, the institution aims to turn diplomatic momentum into measurable commercial outcomes.
